SCLC 29 was held in Lincoln, NE from June 11 through June 14, 2009. It was organized by Mark Awakuni-Swetland, and hosted at the University of Nebraska. This year’s conference was also held alongside the Comparative Siouan Grammar Workshop, organized by John P. Boyle and Johannes Helmbrecht, which was held June 11 and June 12, 2009 .
