SCLC 23 was held in East Lansing, MI from August 8 through August 10, 2003. It was organized by John Boyle, and hosted at Michigan State University in conjunction with the Linguistic Society of America 2003 Summer Linguistic Institute and the Society for the Study of Indigenous Languages of the Americas Summer Meeting.
